Happy Birthday Dad!!!

Happy Birthday to the best Dad and husband in the world!!!!We love you and think you're the GREATEST!
Love Michelle, Micah and Lauren

Primary Program

Sunday was our Primary Program... look how happy everyone is that it's finished!!!! Especially me... Here's a cute picture of Lauren in one of her new birthday outfits.

Pumpkin Farm Round 2...

Lauren playing with her hat, putting it back on herself and hamming it up for the camera.
Micah and Scott spent some time shooting pumpkins. You load them into the gun and aim for things in the distance. Lots of fun! Micah especially liked shooting two pumpkins at a time.

We did the corn maze as a family. Good thing that Dad is such a great navigator! This maze is HUGE! It's actually two mazes in one and the center maze is a picture from the air. I guess theirs is one of the best in the country.

One sad chickey...

On Saturday we went to the neighborhood Halloween party. Micah had a great time playing all the games, winning quite a few prizes. Lauren was the big winner for Cutest Costume... If you ask Scott there was NO CONTEST! Too bad she is so sad in this picture!

Fall Time

Our two precocious but darling children...

Micah with his teacher, Misses Nancy decorating pumkins. Micah played a joke on her and scared her with his funny glasses for Halloween!

Preschool trip to the Pumpkin Farm

We spent a long, hot but fun day at the Pumpkin Farm on Wednesday. The kids had a great time picking out a pumpkin, taking a hay ride and train ride, playing in the bounce houses, racing tricycles and visiting the petting zoo. Speaking of peeting zoo this was the strangest on I've ever seen... they had all your normal farm animals and the a camel and a zebra/donkey cross... kind of felt like the circus!

Good Morning Goodbyes

Every morning when Scott goes to work Micah walks him out. Well, the last few days Lauren has been protesting from her highchair to get down. Well, we've figured out why. She wants to walk Dad out too! She gets down. starts to wave goodbye and heads for the door. She loves to get outside, she just keeps walking! She's a smart little cookie, that's forsure.

Here's a funny picture of Micah- he is a ham.

Jamba Juice anyone?

One of our favorite things to do for FHE is go to the library and get a treat. This week it was Jamba Juices...yum! I think Lauren enjoyed them the most. Oh, and one little leftover picture from her birthday that I forgot to post. She is a cute 1 year old!

Apple farm and relaxing

Here are a couple of pictures from our preschool field trip to the u-pick apple farm. We took a wrong turn and ended up taking a walking tour of the entire farm... three moms, five preschoolers, two babies, two picking sticks and two buckets! Yikes! Once we found the apples it was a lot of fun. We ended up with a whole 5 gallon bucket full, for only five dollars. We picked fuji, gala, granny smith and some sort of japanese apple. Micah mostly enjoyed hitting the apples out of the tree with a large stick he found. Nope, there's no boy in him at all!

Here's a couple of cute pictures of Lauren falling asleep on Scott. Sundays are long, hard days for her and she's dozing before seven. Not only does she not ever dose, she definately doesn't try to sleep anywhere near to seven o'clock- try eight or nine!

Here are some pictures from school. Micah likes all of his friends- especially when they get to have picnics at the park. The pictures of Micah and Lauren are form just before school- Lauren actually can crawl up a chair and sit herself at the table. She wants to be big like the rest of the school kids. Tomorrow we are going to the apple farm. Should be fun!

These pictures are from this morning. After a bad night (which luckily are few) I ended up in bed with Lauren in Micah's room and Micah ended up with Scott in our room. I was reminded of Micah, he wasn't a great sleeper, and Scott and I would often find ourselves sleeping with Micah in his bed, in the morning. Lauren was very confused but excited to see she woke up next to someone in a new room!

New shoes and Daddy Style

Here's a cute picture of Lauren being a mommy.

We had a messy dinner the other night and check out Scott cleaning up Lauren- Daddy style!

Happy birthday dear Mason???

This actually turned out pretty funny- Happy Birthday Mason!!!(no matter what Micah says)

Playing around town

The weather has turned colder again. That means an end to the pool and back to our favorite inside haunts, two of them being the playground at the mall (the playground for the kids and the mall for mom!) and the Children's Museum. Good times!

Check up

Lauren is 1 year old! That means a physical... She's 20 lbs exactly and 31" long.... this puts her in the 99% for height and the 30% for weight.... I think she might take after her Dad. Oh and the chessy grin was BEFORE she got 5 shots, of course! Micah was just happy it wasn't him for once.

Happy First Birthday Lauren!

Happy 1st Birthday Lauren!!!

Smiles and giggles

Although Lauren is only one, we're sure she's going to have a GREAT sense of humor!

Suddenly she's walking everywhere!

Lauren really walks!!!

Here's a little clip of our walking girl... she makes us very proud! With a coach like Micah she couldn't go wrong. Notice Micah's outfit.... Jeans, a polo, green baseball hat, red flip flops and a clip on tie..... He picked the accessories himself, can you tell!?!?!

Columbus Day

So... Happy Columbus Day! Scott, being a government employee, enjoyed a day off with us. We had a delicious Round Table buffet lunch, played a game of connect four and Micah and Lauren enjoyed the suckers they got from the buffet... yummy!

We took a "ride" in Lowe's. Good thing Lauren didn't realize she was riding shotgun... she'd have an opinion about that if she was a little older! We have been blessed with not one, but two, VERY strong willed children.
