Fun while Dad's away...

Sometimes Scott takes a business trip. Both kids miss him so much but secretly Micah looks forward to taking his spot... He sleeps in our bed, on Scott's side... He stays up for late night treats with Mom... However he's always glad when Dad comes home!

The KINGDOM!

Here's a snapshot of Micah's new domain- setting up elaborate battles and scenarios with his toys. This one features Ratchet from Transformers, army guys, a police and fire force, sharks and a crocidile.... makes for very exciting stories! Micah took the battle picture all by himself... not bad!

Popsicle Party

Who would have known that our kids LOVE popsicles. They ask for them many times a day... I've switched to sugar-free so one a day doesn't bother me. Lauren can say popsicle and specifically requests orange everytime. Micah likes the Dr. Pepper ones (they don't have caffeine). Very funny. The only rule that applies, under no circumstances do you leave the tile!

Party at the pool...

Here are a few cute pictures of the kids on yet another swimming day. We are at the pool at least 5 times a week and on the better days, with Dad or friends. These pictures are with Micah's friend Colton. You can also see a cute picture of Lauren in her hooded towel I made her. Surprise, Micah didn't want a group shot so it's just Lauren sitting pretty!

Children's Museum

Sometimes when it's too hot for the pool (it happens here occasionally) we head somewhere indoors for fun. We made a trip to the museum the other day. Lauren spilled water on herself in the bubbler and decided she was 'dirty" and went shirtless the whole morning. Micah spent his time building weapons of legos. No comment...

Preschool graduation... staged....

Well, the flash on our digital camera went out right before Preschool Graduation. We have a hysterical video to remember it by but I had to take a few new pictures of the big day... about 2 months later. I made him wear the same clothes, does that help?!?!

Adventures in Ice Cream

So there's a new joint in town, A Ghiradelli Outlet and ice cream shop. We thought we should check it out. The day was so hot and the place so popular, we bought some chocolates and left without ice cream heading to our favorite new place for a snack, Tiger Yogurt. They have over 10 flavors a day including some non-fat, sorbets and sugar free fat free (which is actually REALLY tasty). YUMMY!

Although this is a very RARE occasion, this picture says it all!

Diving for....

I'm not sure but somehow Micah got the goggles in the bathtub. Not a bad idea, they had a great time and an ultra long bath (hey, at least they were contained)!

Lauren

Lauren loves the camera! She's at that perfect age... she also has a brother who is normally boycotting his participation in photos so you'll probably see more of here in the next couple of months. Here she is:
