Pool Play

Scott's cousin Mindi has a great pool and we took every opportunity to use it while in San Diego. Thanks for all the fun times. Lauren even conquered the waterslide all on her own. Way to go! Check out the picture of Micah on the water skateboard, only captured thanks to a fast camera :)

Professor Pennypickles Place

We made a visit to Professor Pennypickle's house when we went to Southern California, aka The Temecula Children's Museum. We had fun testing his experiments and finding his clues of pickles and pennies left around his house. Here are a few pictures.

Fun in the Sun

What fun would a trip to San Diego be without LOTS of time at the beach? Check out these pictures- we hit a few beaches a few times. Micah got some serious time on the boogie board and Lauren especially liked the sand. And great friends like MAson, Luke, Ty, Whitney, Cassidy and Tressa to enjoy it with!

Grandma and Papa's backyard

Dear Grandma and Papa,
We really like your sprinklers. We think that it was so fun when you'd turn them on for us to run around in the back yard. What a great way to cool down! Thanks for all the treats too like ice cream cones and m and m's.... we can't wait to come again! XO Micah and Lauren

A belated Happy Father's Day

My posts are WAY behind but we wouldn't want to forget Father's Day. Hope all you Dad's out there had a good one. We did! Yummy steaks on the grill and playing the Wii... fun! Here are a couple pictures from the weekend.

T-ball times.... over until next year!

A successful season is over! Micah had a great year moving from t-ball to coach pitch he really thought was cool. He worked on his hitting and his catching- this year saw some improvement but he especially had a fun time being on a team and earning a medal. Way to go Micah!

Santa Cruz

We took a day trip a few weeks back tot he Santa Cruz area. We managed to hit the steam train ride through the Santa Cruz mountains, Santa Cruz State beach, the Santa Cruz Pier and Capitola all in one day. Phew! Some of the highlights were riding the trian- very fun if you're ever nearby, getting a little beach fix, seeing the sea lions and giant starfish at the end of the pier and Pizza My Heart for dinner, YUM!
