Our week in review

Lauren is now a serious walker, just a few days before her 1st birthday and she's really walking now. Micah, after watching conference all day yesterday, was sure he saw President Hinkley yesterday coming out of Conference. He even asked me to go and shake his hand as he watched from the car. He said,"Mom , can you believe it!!! It's Gordon Hinkley! Go shake his hand!" Thank goodness it was a nice man from our ward that I knew so he indulged him with a wave. Pretty funny.

Lauren and Micah spend a fun afternoon at the Children's Museum.

Micah has been eating eggs every day for breakfast, like Captain Carlos, if you're familiar with Carlos on the Disney Channel. Lauren prefers fruit... what a girl!

Fun while Dad was away....

Dad was gone for 5 days... the kids survived... intact, amazingly so. We did have a fun night eating at Sonic in the car- this is Micah's favorite restaurant.

We're going to the zoo, how about you?

Here are a couple of pictures of our family at the zoo. The first one is of Micah imitating a bat hanging upside down in the bat house, not bad! Right after the picture of the kids in the forest of bamboo, Micah was pretending to be a monkey. He was very funny, but it was even funnier when Lauren copied him and did "oo, oo oo" and bounced up and down like a monkey too. Pretty funny!

Playing at the park

Micah, Lauren and I stopped at the park on the way home from Target the other time. Micah had fun showing off his tricks. He played with a little boy at the playground. They played pirates, conveniently Micah had brought two swords so they each had one. At onc point I reminded Micah to "play nice". He replied, "Don't worry mom, I won't cut his head off, I'm being really nice! " Awesome... Lauren enjoyed the food, she stole one of Micah's doritos and that was VERY exciting for her!
